Trading Standards video promotes consumer rights in used car market (UK)

Did you know that if you buy a used car from a dealer and it develops a fault within 30 days, you are legally entitled to demand a refund? The Chartered Trading Standards Institute identifies it as the top complaint levelled by consumers at car traders and uses it as the basis for an effective new consumer rights video.

Published on the CTSI Business Companion Website as its Consumer Advice Trends registers 55,924 complaints concerning more than 8 million used vehicles sold last year, ‘Video guide for used car traders’ also highlights other key areas of consumer law covered by the government-backed website, which in turn also links to Citizens Advice ‘Consumer advice trends’.
