Camelot has asked its retailers to take part in a new ‘Camelot Lottery Retailer Survey’ asking how they can be supported if they are concerned about customers spending more than they can afford on National Lottery products.
The online survey is an important part of a larger study being conducted by the Responsible Gambling Council on behalf of, and in consultation with, Camelot to improve existing guidelines for retail employees.
While Camelot is confident that National Lottery games are low risk for players, it is also aware that there are a small number of players who could encounter problems as part of their wider issues with excessive gambling.
The deadline for returning the survey, which is completely confidential, is 7 July.
