A Skilled Worker Is Worth Fighting For!: Successful Recoveries

The UK is currently facing a tough skill shortage, with many sectors struggling to find employees with the right skill set for the roles available.

The recent apprenticeship levy that was introduced in April has further exacerbated the issue, with many criticising the levy’s complex and time-consuming process.  Trainee-ships in the UK are declining as a result, with employers forced to reject potential candidates as they navigate the new regulation.

The Credit Protection Association has unfortunately been approached by a number of training providers whose services are awaiting payment. This highlights the critical need for skilled workers, but the struggle to find the money to fund it.

Here are some positive outcomes that a few of our Members from the industry attained. Read below!:

Our Member from the training industry came to us back in October with three separate cases from two different debtors. We approached the debtor with one Letter Before Action (LBA), and within six days they repaid our Member the full amount!

Similarly, another Member from the training industry approached us in September with two cases with different debtors. The case was processed and sent to our solicitors. The LBA was ignored but before a County Court Judgement (CCJ) could be issued, our Member received the full amount!

It is important that we encourage all our Members to fight to get paid for their services!

For our Members in the training industry; don’t let late, delayed, or bad debt, risk damaging your business!

Our country needs skilled workers, so don’t allow late payers stop you achieving this!

So please get in contact with the team here at CPA if you have any outstanding debt that you want recovered. From businesses in the training industry, to everything else! We can help!
