This is why we email too!

This morning we posted a blog by our Service Manager, Cris Shirley on how chasing by email is successful.

This is emphasized by issues with the postal system! We have all experienced postal strikes in the past.  Strikes that have crippled the network. But other things can hit the post. We recently received a warning that due to a recent spike in the volume throughout the industry, volumes currently within Royal Mail’s network are very high and therefore we could expect to  a delay in mail landing of 24-48 hours. Can you imagine? There was too many letters! It smacks of the train companies complaining about leaves on the line.

This combined with severe weather conditions and motorway closures experienced recently, such as the M1 being closed for hours yesterday as a suspicious package under a bridge was investigated and postal delays are a fact of life.

CPA’s letter are effective once they arrive but an email gets there instantly. If the email address is wrong, then we know very quickly. Once the debtor reads the email, we get quick responses coming in the very same day it was sent.

So please, where possible, use the email address.
